I have been focused, since becoming a NASAR Director in enhancing the professionalism of NASAR and SAR responders. I have maintained a stance of holding the NASAR Board accountable to the membership. Along the journey, I have become active in writing ASTM SAR standards in an effort to enhance the SAR community. I truly believe that 2014 was a pivotal moment for NASAR and it has turned an important corner, where cronyism has been displaced with professional focus and commitment to meet the NASAR Mission. As NASAR and the Board moves forweard, I will continue to stand for accountability and ensure the NASAR leadership is held to the highest ethical standards.
