This three-video DVD is designed to be used with the world renowned Hug-a-Tree and Survive program. This program, inspired by the search for nine year old Jimmy Beveridge in 1981 in southern California, and initiated by the caring heart of Ab Taylor, teaches children how to survive in the woods should they become lost. The first video on the DVD is intended to be used as one part of a complete Hug-a-Tree and Survive program. It tells the dramatic story of young Johnny who gets lost during a family picnic but easily survives and gets rescued by applying the Hug-a-Tree principles. The second video teaches how to present the full Hug-a-Tree program, and the third video is a documentary of the Jimmy Beveridge search. Every child between the ages of 7 and 11 should be taught this important information, and every adult who cares about children should teach this program to as many children as possible. Revised 2008.
